There is a reason the motto, ‘It all starts with safety’ hangs on our walls. It is part of who we are and how we do business. With numerous safety awards from the Utah Safety Council, WCF of Utah, the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA) and the Utah Manufacturing Association, and being able to boast of never having received an OSHA citation, our approach to health, safety, and wellness of our employees and yours is solid. We live,work and play safety.
We believe this culture of safety has a positive impact on every aspect of what we do for you and how we provide it. At MSS safety is planned and directed by our in-house Safety Committee and full-time Safety Director. Our safety program starts with new employee orientation and a detailed review of our company safety handbook and policies. It also includes weekly job-site safety discussions, job-site safety inspections, company-wide safety meetings, formal handling of all accidents, drug testing, a yearly safety incentive program, and consistent updating of all OSHA required certifications.
Our low turnover rate and experienced staff has allowed us to develop a “safety-first” attitude that is a way of life for our company and our employees. Our employees are our future.
